We are looking for a Senior Front-end Developer to join our team as a Consultant. This is a freelance/remote opportunity for professionals looking to establish an ongoing project-based collaboration. The ideal candidate for this role has 5+years of experience building institutional websites with interactive elements and illustrations, and a strong portfolio of previous work. We are looking for an autonomous and collaborative individual, who is capable of committing to deadlines and who can create user experience concepts creatively and efficiently.
Some of the responsibilities of the role are:
• Designing and developing websites with interactive animations
• Developing projects from scratch, proposing clean, efective and user-friendly solutions
• Collaborating with our in-house team to translate design ideas and concepts into functional and compelling web experiences
• Optimizing existing projects
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or related fields
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JS and Bootstrap
• Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Invision, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Good judgment on usability and user interface issues
• Knowledge of hosting management
• Knowledge of web design for email campaings
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
Nice to have (but not essential):
• Knowledge of ReactJC
• Development and management of databases
• Experience in educational websites
• Previous experience designing for non-profits or international organizations
